KNOWING THE MOTH PRINCE

I've lost sight of who I was for so long, after being a child used as a mere tool for the desires of those adults with filthy hands. Even after I grew into adulthood, even when they let me be free, I wasn't, because I had spent so much time being used to be their thing, and so I've deteriorated into something that had no likes and dislikes of my own. I am kinder to ourselves now. I journal as I try to find out what it is that makes my heart beat. I take notes, and I give them a symbol of rating of my own system.

Among my likes, there are the things that were enjoyable without being particularly notable; there are the things that actually moved me but cannot qualify as the very special shaken-to-my-core type; and finally, those that reached me, deep inside. Deep, deep.
